In 1996 Dr. W. Don Doty received his Doctorate of Medical
Dentistry (DMD) from the University of Mississippi Medical Center
and opened his practice in Brookhaven. Prior to dental school,
he earned his Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Marketing
from Mississippi State University (1987) and then his Masters of
Business Administration from Millsaps College (1993). He is an
associate professor in the Department of Diagnostic Sciences at the
University of Mississippi Medical Center. Currently his

Besides his primary practice here in Brookhaven, MS, Dr. Doty has
additional practices in Meadville and Gulfport, MS.
Don is married to his Kosciusko High School sweetheart, Sally Doty,
former attorney/faculty member at the Mississippi College School of
Law. They have three beautiful and talented children, Ellen (now a
teenager), Sarah (with her beautiful, quiet smile) and Benjamin (who
shares his father’s innate ability to take things apart and
reconstruct them)…not to mention the parade of pets that
periodically adopt the Doty family.;
